What is TNFD?

The Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures (TNFD) has developed a set of recommendations and guidelines on transparency that encourage and enable companies to assess, report, and act on their dependencies, impacts, risks, and opportunities related to nature.

The recommended disclosures for all sectors are structured around four pillars:

  • Governance

  • Strategy

  • Risk and Impact Management

  • Metrics and Targets
